Breaking down each layer of You

Written by Clayton Porter

Your Insights page turns everything you log in your Time Blocks into a picture of how you're actually living your time, what you're doing, how it feels, and how consistently you're accounting for it.

It's where your lived experience becomes clear.

Getting to Insights

From the menu dropdown on the upper-left select Insights. This brings up the Insights page with all five tabs available across the top. Each tab gives you a different lens on the same underlying data: Summary, Time, Energy, Reflection, and Media.

Summary

The Summary tab is "the story of you." It pulls together the trends in that timeframe. What your days tend to consist of, the rhythm you've fallen into, and what's coming up in the week ahead. Because it draws on your reflections, media, and energy ratings, Summary reads less like a report and more like a recap of the week.

Time

The Time tab shows how much of your time is accounted for, and how that time is being allocated.

  • A written summary at the top surfaces the key patterns in your time for the period you're viewing.

  • A graph visualizes how your time is distributed across the four pillars: Sleep, Life, Health, and Work.

  • Scroll down to Time by Pillars for a closer breakdown of how your time splits within each individual pillar.

  • Scroll down further to Time by Activity, People, and Places to see exactly where your time goes, broken out by the actual tags you've used in your Time Blocks. This is where tagging turns your time into deeper insights.

Energy

The Energy tab shows how you've felt within each pillar, based on the Energy Ratings you add to your Accounted Time Blocks.

  • A graph shows your average energy by pillar, so you can see at a glance where your time is giving you energy and where it's draining you.

  • Scroll down for a detailed breakdown by Activity, People, and Places tags — useful for spotting exactly which activities, people, or places tend to raise or lower your energy.

Reflection

The Reflection tab surfaces patterns across your written reflections in each of the four pillars. It brings to the surface what's stood out about your activities, people, and places, and how those experiences actually affected you.

Media

The Media tab shows all the photos and videos you've added for the selected time period, broken down by pillar, along with a summary of the moments you captured.

  • Click on any photo or video to open its Time Block in an overlay, where you can see the reflection and energy rating you added for that moment.

  • Click Close in the top-left corner of the overlay to return to your Media view.

Choosing a date range and timeframe

The default is a weekly report of the current week, but you can view Insights for whatever date or timeframe you want to look back on:

  • Timeframe: Click the timeframe button and choose Day, Week, Month, or Year from the dropdown.

  • Date: Click the date button (for example, "July 2026") to open the date picker, then choose the month and week you want. Your Insights page reloads to show that period.

Quick glossary

  • Time Blocks — the entries where you account for and tag your time as it happens.

  • Pillars — the four core areas your time is grouped into: Sleep, Life, Health, and Work.

  • Accounted Time — the portion of your day you've actively logged in Time Blocks.

  • Energy Ratings — the rating you attach to a Time Block reflecting how that time felt.

  • Tags (Activities, People, Places) — the labels you attach to Time Blocks that power the Time and Energy breakdowns.

Tip: The more consistently you tag your Time Blocks with Activities, People, and Places, the more detailed your Time and Energy breakdowns will be.

How your Insights improve over time

With each cycle, as you account for more of your time and add richer reflections, energy ratings, and media, your Insights deepen. Those Insights become the input for Designing your following week with more precision — and over time, as you improve with each cycle, you continuously realize more of your potential.
